Sweden to Denmark

On our drive to Helsingborg we noticed the barns and houses seem to be almost all painted red and white and are made of wood. Not so once you reach the city which is known for its old town. The medieval Kärnan tower stands out and is the only surviving part of an ancient fortress. Also easy to spot is the Gothic Church of St Marys (1300s) and the neo-Gothic Town Hall, with its tall clock tower.
